Many find an unspoken beauty in texture and decay; and the aim of Lahet Kherev is to attempt to archive the distortions and omissions that occur with the passing of time - to somehow capture this appreciation for worn and faded imagery by attempting to interpret it into ambient music.
Whether heard as an ethereal soundtrack to life's sublime and sometimes surreal moments, or setting the tone for prayer, the music of Lahet Kherev is ideally meant to add an additional dimension to those miraculous events that happened so long ago, yet still define who we are today; to bring to mind the otherworldly dreams of the prophets, the rumble of a tombstone rolled away, and the approaching roar of a brilliant, descending city.
